Meet and Greet!

We would like to welcome our new Occupational Therapist to the Jigsaw Team, Lauren! Lauren has been at Jigsaw Occupational Therapy for Children fora month now and Jess sat her down today to asked her a few questions so you can all get to know her a bit better!

Where are you from? Perth, Western Australia.
What university did you attend? Curtin University in Perth and completed a Bachelor Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy.
How did you become interested in Paediatrics? I have always loved being around children and I enjoy seeing them thrive and reach their full potential.
Where have you worked before this? I previously worked as OT in the education support unit at a primary school. I have also been a dance teacher for many years, a support worker and gained valuable experience at Perth’s peadiatric hospital.
What would you be doing if you weren’t an Occupational Therapist? A Primary School Teacher
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working at Jigsaw? Going for hikes with Jess!
Do you have any siblings? Yes, I have 5 siblings
Your favourite food: Pasta
Favourite football team: West Coast Eagles (AFL)
Favourite animal: Koala
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? Greece or Italy
What is the best part of working at Jigsaw Occupational Therapy for Children: Getting to have lots of fun everyday with a great bunch of children!
